Summer Bishil is an American actress best known for her performance as Margo Hanson in the Syfy the fantasy-based drama The Magicians (2015-present). The role she played before as a Lebanese American teenager Jasira that goes through many personal trials amid the backdrop of U.S. war in Iraq in the Gulf War was featured in Alan Ball's film Towelhead. In the following year, she was chosen as one of Variety's Top 10 Actors to Watch for 2007. In 2009, she played the powerful Taslima in the film Crossing Over. She was nominated in the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead in this film. In addition to Lucky 7, she has appeared as a character in Mooz Lum The Last Airbender Pop Star, Under the Silver Lake and a number of TV guest roles.
